After reading some of the harrowing stories our authors have the guts to tell, you may be left wondering “what can be done to help the victims?” We are looking into future avenues for partnering with victim assistance programs. In the mean time our authors have found ways to contribute to the greater good through
writing. A portion of the proceed from Steve Jackson’s NO STONE UNTURNED will go to NecroSearch International to assist them in continuing to pursue justice for murder victims. Most recently, author Bradley Nickell has announced that he is partnering with the Rape Crisis Center in Las Vegas to donate a portion of the REPEAT OFFENDER proceeds to their efforts in helping victims of sexual assault.
This announcement is best made in his own words. This is what Bradley posted to his own blog yesterday:
“It is with great pleasure that I’m able to announce, a portion of each sale of my true-crime thriller, REPEAT OFFENDER, will be going to The Rape Crisis Center in Las Vegas.
The Rape Crisis Center will be earmarking the money for counseling services for victims of child sex abuse. I’m thankful that this opportunity to help others has come about. When you read REPEAT OFFENDER, you’ll understand the connection and my motivation.”
He went on to give information about the RCC itself:
“Everyone involved with the services of the RCC are empathetic and enthusiastic people who give their time, energy, and personal sacrifice to continue to serve Clark County’s victims of sexual violence. Our services are provided free to victims through the generous support of our grant partners, as well as individual and corporate donors.”
