WildBLue Press is an A-Z indie publishing company formed by a consortium of bestselling and award-winning authors with the occasional “rising star” brought in. Instead of waiting on the whims traditional publishing companies, our authors decide what they want to publish and when; then we take it from there. We offer the very best in original and previously published, “classic,” works of fiction and non-fiction. Many of our WildBlue Press Classics are in ebook format for the first time, and all have been updated with new material and author commentary. The result is that our readers can be assured of the literary excellence they seek when spending their hard-earned money. Our promise to our authors and our readers is to maintain the highest standards of writing, editing and production.
We’re more than just great books. Check out our Features section for magazine-length stories written by our authors. We also offer a range of other services and products. Want to improve your own writing? Coming soon we’ll be offering writing events, webinars and online courses from WildBlue Press authors. Need help getting that book of yours together? Some of our authors moonlight as book doctors and editors.
WildBlue Press was formed out of the conversations between Steve Jackson (an award-winning true crime, crime fiction, thriller and history author) and Michael Cordova (a technology and online marketing specialist, Founder and President of 21st Century Technologies, Inc., past CTO of Well.org and past CTO and founding partner at Mercury Leads) a couple of college buddies who recognized that the publishing world was changing–traditional publishers were making it tough on “working class” authors (those not named King or Rowling) yet rising above the “white noise” of the self-publishing world was an immense obstacle for authors suddenly expected to “do it all” themselves in addition to writing. When asked why, if this is such a good idea, traditional publishers don’t do it, their response is: “They can’t. It’s like asking dinosaurs to become mammals because the climate is changing. They have big buildings, large staffs, transportation and storage issues and, to be quite frank, they haven’t treated mid-level authors very well.” WildBlue Press is our answer to the challenges of 21st century publishing.
