Meet the Founders

Author and journalist Steve Jackson, whose first idea for a book became a New York Times bestseller. That's when he understood that being an author made sense for him. He has since written 35+ books.
Michael Cordova, president of 21st Century Technologies, Inc., where he has designed custom database software systems for the largest and most innovative companies in the world and grown client customer sales by 8-fold with his marketing and advertising insight and processes.

A Couple of College Buddies From Colorado State University

WildBlue Press was formed out of the conversations between Steve and Michael. They were a couple of college buddies who recognized that the publishing world was changing—traditional publishers were making it tough on "working class" authors (i.e., those not named King or Rowling) and rising above the "white noise" of the self-publishing world was an immense obstacle for authors suddenly expected to "do it all" themselves in addition to writing.

Founded in 2014, we are an independent, mid-sized book publisher dedicated to delivering stories of the highest quality and creativity. Our titles span a range of genres, including fiction and nonfiction, and we publish in hardback, paperback, eBook, and audiobook formats. We strive to create a unique and engaging experience for readers and authors and invite you to engage with us!

We submit first-time manuscripts to our market-testing focus groups and publishing team before we decide to take them on. Once accepted, we treat all of our authors the same. This includes continual promotions of their work and cultivating a growing audience using state-of-the-art tools that find the one-in-a-million influencer and online properties that can propel each book to the targeted readers who will love it.
