Show Featured Wide-Ranging Discussion on WildBlue Press, True Crime Writing, BOGEYMAN, And The Impact of Violent Crime
Those of you who missed it live, can listen to Steve Jackson’s interview on the Shattered Lives with Donna Gore radio program. Donna used the first part of the show to quiz Steve about WildBlue Press, the indie publishing company he founded with his partner, Michael Cordova, in the summer of 2014, as a “publishing company for and by authors.”
In addition to discussing the general concept of the company, Steve was asked to discuss how authors–both published and new to the business–can apply for consideration as new WildBlue Press members.
The last part of the show was dedicated to a general discussion about true crime writing, as well as the impact of violent crime and its aftermath, which is the focus of Shattered Lives. That included a discussion of Steve’s latest book, BOGEYMAN: He Was Every Parent’s Nightmare, in particular as it related to the impact of the investigation into the crimes committed by serial child killer David Penton on the detectives involved.
The WildBlue Press Authors Series on Shattered Lives with Donna Gore continues this Saturday, Jan. 31, 5 p.m. ET, when Donna interviews Kevin Sullivan, the author of VAMPIRE: The Richard Chase Murders and THE BUNDY MURDERS. Shows in the coming weeks will feature WildBlue Press authors: John Ferak, Burl Barer, Caitlin Rother, Ron Franscell, Bradley Nickell, and Carolina Sarassa.
