We’re back!
It seems like forever ago that I wrote about my first book, Big Dogs-Book One of the ‘Big Dogs Series’. But, in reality, it was only a couple of months ago. The holidays are a blur, but we did manage to have some great times with friends and family.
Gasping for Air-Book Two of the Big Dogs Series comes out on January 31, 2023. I am happy to see this book finally published. My fans have been asking about it since they finished the first book. As I have said before, storytelling is the easy part for me. The rewriting, editing, and proofing are much more like work. But it is all worth it to produce the best story for the readers.
In Book Two, JW and Ben are back with Ares and Addy. They have joined the FBI Serial Criminal Task Force and are hot on the trail of the Truck Stop Killer. This case, involving local authorities around Prescott, Arizona, is vital to JW, who feels they need to continue to build the team’s reputation.
JW’s success in Las Vegas was critical to his dream, but he understands you are only as good as your most recent success. Then, add in the Truck Stop Killer, who may be one the most prolific serial killers in America. The pressure is on, and JW knows Ares must produce.
Now that Big Dogs is part of the FBI task force, both JW and his wife, Bonnie, understand that the organization must expand to meet the growing demand. Their question is, where should they go, and will Ben and his family come with them?
Gasping for Air introduces several new characters, some good, some bad, and those we can’t be certain about. And, of course, the Shadow returns to continue his own personal reign of terror.
