In 2022 WildBlue Press launched 22 new books. Eight of those were fiction. Read post one of two to learn about all the nonfiction we released.
WildBlue Press is proud to publish a variety of fiction genres from outstanding authors!
We have big plans for the near future including more gneres. This year, our fiction included a bit of thriller and a bit of mystery.
The first book we published in 2022 was also the first book in the 'Ten' Series, THE RIGHT THING, by Terry Persun. If you haven't read anything by Persun, now is the time. He writes in several genres and you can find out about all of his projects on his personal website www.terrypersun.com.
THE RIGHT THING was a 2022 finalist for the Book Excellence Awards! This series follows freelance tech investigator Ten who has been through a lot and is just trying to do his part to find the computer hackers responsible for a mass prison break. In book two, THE KILLING MACHINE: A Ten Series Mystery, Ten is seeking revenge but first he needs to stop a deadly project in it's tracks. Next, Ten has to stop the scientists behind an unethical weaponization of chimpanzee human hybrids in THE HUMANZEE EXPERIEMEMTS: A Ten Mystery Series. Terry Persun does not disappoint.
Also in January, John Stamp brought us BLOOD RED IVORY. This is the first book in the Ty Benhoff series and it is an action-packed, non-stop, edge-of-your-seat thriller with phenomenal character and plot development. One reviewer gave BLOOD RED IVORY five stars and said, "Stamp clearly has the background to make the dialogue and attitudes completely believable and immensely enjoyable." That's true; he was a Special Agent of the NCIS and FBI. He was also a Police Officer in Charleston, South Carolina and holds a master's degree in Forensic Science from the University of Florida.

In February, debut author Doug Lamplugh released MURDER AT MARDI GRAS, another intense, jaw-clenching, engrossing mystery-crime-thriller. John spent 30 years in law enforcement and he is actively promoting his writing. Find and follow him on Facebook.
Forget the make-believe cop dramas full of whiz-bang tech. In the real world it comes down to dogged persistence, attention to detail, and shoe leather. Murder at Mardi Gras is the real deal from a real cop … Murder at Mardi Gras should be required reading for homicide investigators and fans of police procedure.” —Mark Johnson, retired Mobile Police Department Detective and author of APPREHENSIONS AND CONVICTIONS: Adventures of a 50 Year Old Rookie Cop.
Fall of 2022 brought more crime fiction including A NEST OF SNAKES by award-winning author, Deborah Levison, in October. The novel's protagonist, Brenden Cortland, is brilliantly developed; this is a timeless story that provides a window into a broken society. In a full review for the Jeruselum Post, Lauren Adilev wrote:
As the novel moved through the seasons, I cheered on every step of Cortland’s transformation and was reminded of Albert Camus’s famous quotation: 'In the midst of winter, I found there was, within me, an invincible summer. And that makes me happy. For it says that no matter how hard the world pushes against me, within me, there’s something stronger – something better, pushing right back.'"

In October, author, T.J. Champitto brought us THE SHADOWMAKER: Book 1 In The Shadowmaker Series. This is the start of the Henry Sirola thriller-adventure stories. Henry is a renowned art-thief and an FBI informant. He has some balancing between his two lives to do.
Did you know Champitto's first book, THE MEDINA DEVICE won the Pencraft Award for Literary Excellence, a Maxy Award for Best Thriller, and was named a finalist for the Silver Falchion Award? Did you also know that readers call THE SHADOWMAKER, "Better than even his first novel," in reviews?
