I understand and totally get how the story about my case can be fodder for many jokes and I can even laugh at myself most of the time. But unless you took a deep, intimate interest in the issues presented in the Cannibal Cop case, chances are you haven’t really thought about how this case relates to everyone in society.

The issue of thought crimes is one reason I wanted to write this book.
