Hi there, my name is T.J. Champitto and I’m the award-winning author of The Medina Device, and The Shadowmaker. My debut released in 2020 and earned a Pencraft Award for Literary Excellence, a Maxy Award for Best Thriller, and was named a finalist for the Silver Falchion Award.
Prior to becoming a novelist, I explored the globe as a travel blogger and journalist, with features in publications such as Destinations Travel, Kulkuri Magazine, and Flint Magazine.
I was born in Troy, New York, and attended college in central Florida, where I received a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration.
I currently reside in Greenville, South Carolina, with my beautiful wife, Tisha, and my two dogs, Maggie and Roxy.
