THE BUNDY SECRETS: Hidden Files Of America’s Worst Serial Killer, is a book that every person interested in Ted Bundy should have, and here’s why: When I was researching and writing my biography of Ted Bundy, The Bundy Murders: A Comprehensive History, my primary sources were interviews I conducted with those involved with the case, and the thousands of pages I’d obtained directly from the official case files. And I remember thinking, as I was writing the biography of America’s most infamous serial killer, how unfortunate it was that the average reader will never see what I’m seeing from the original case files that were, at the time of the murders, highly classified and only seen by the investigators. The very best I could do (and this goes for all biographers), was present the information pertinent to the case and what particular event I was writing about.

Of course, I knew I was leaving behind valuable information that could not be included, for to include It would mean we’d have to reproduce the case files word-for-word, and that can’t be done when writing a narrative nonfiction true crime book like The Bundy Murders.
